Roem Topatimasang
Pria kelahiran 20 Mei di kampung Masamba, Sulawesi Selatan ini memilih hijrah ke Pulau Jawa dan terdampar di Bandung Jawa Barat lalu drop out dari Sekolah Guru (IKIP Bandung, 1980). Setelah keluar dari penjara (aksi mahasiswa angkatan 78) mulai aktif di dunia pendidikan dan pengorganisasian masyarakat -- boleh dibilang ia adalah mbahnya NGO di Indonesia. Ditengah-tengah menjadi guru jalanan selama 30 tahun di Jawa dan terutama di Indonesia Timur, menyempatkan menulis, memproduksi foto dan film semuanya dia dedikasikan untuk upaya transformasi sosial.
